An exciting one day camp was organized by Carmel School, Moodbidri for Cubs and Bulbuls was held in our school.

The programme commenced with the prayer followed by a prayer song. Tr. Manasa welcomed the resource persons Mr.Prasad Acharya and Ms.Kavitha M. from Alvas Institution. They taught the students to be creative and also helped them to bring out their own creativity. They prepared beautiful greeting cards, use of knots under their guidance. Various songs were taught and number of stories were recited to the students by them. These activities were conducted to make every student independent and disciplined.

After lunch the students went off hiking and played various games, treasure hunt and explored the places around. Later in the evening, the students reached the school campus at 3.30pm. Camp gave them a feeling of close community where everyone learnt to respect each other and got values of life.

The students had many good memories and the love of camping rooted firmly in their hearts.
