An awesome camp for our Awesome kids taking the little minds out of the hustle of the academic bug. Carmel School Moodbidri has organized a summer camp with the main aim to get the children away from their routine learning and allow them to build confidence and memories that last long. The day commenced thanking God for his blessings for the past days and invoking His grace for the days to come. The camp was inaugurated by the Principal Sr. Jyothi, teachers and a few students. The Principal declared the camp open and in her message highlighted about the various activities that would be conducted in the camp. The activities were yoga, spoken English, English handwriting, fitness - aerobics games, zumba, hindi grammar, action songs, art and craft, preparing washing soap and phenyl, glass painting, making door mat and cloth bag. She urged the students to make the best use in learning the skills at this camp. She also stressed the main purpose of this camp was to take the children away from their modern gadgets and bring them back to the world of reality. The students were taught to be creative and also bring out their own creativity. They prepared beautiful paper crafts and different flowers under the guidance of their teachers. Various songs and dances were taught. Students enjoyed the games. The camp has instilled in the campers a sense of appreciation and gratitude towards their teachers and mentors. Indeed it is an opportunity for the students to explore new ideas, interests, make new friends and make memories that will last a lifetime!
