Play school, KG, Grade 1 and 2 students of Carmel school, Moodbidri celebrated 'Green day '. All the students came in green coloured dress and brought saplings to plant.

"Green - The colour of life "

Green day was celebrated in an instructive way where the child learnt about the importance of green colour and its positive effects on our lives.

The LKG and UKG children began their celebration at 10.00a.m. on 14th July 2023, Sr. Preena the vice Principal was present. They began the celebration with a prayer and a prayer song: "Like a sunflower" followed by thoughts and Rhymes on green.

To mark the green day teachers conducted some activities in colouring trees, and leaf art ( pasting leaves).

"Everywhere green". Classrooms were all adorned with the things green in colour. The activities done by the kids were displayed in the classroom.

Grade 1 and 2 children began their celebration at 9.30a.m on 12th July. Sr. Elena the Administrator was present. They performed skit, action song and dance. It was wonderful and brought meaning to the day.

Play school celebrated green day on 11th July. Tiny tots were happy to come to school with green dress. They brought joy to the celebration and showed their love towards nature by planting saplings.
