Carmel School, Moodbidri is managed by the Apostolic Carmel Sisters under the Apostolic Carmel Educational Society (R), a non profitable Christian Minority Organization run for the total welfare of the people for promoting the cause of Education. The Apostolic Carmel was established in Mangalore in 1870.

Mother Veronica, an English lady founded the Apostolic Carmel Congregation in 1868 at Bayonne, France. The Congregation, the pioneer in education since 1870 has been in the forefront of education for over a century and has a vast chain of institutions all over India and abroad, ranging from Kindergarten to University.

Carmel School has its focus on all round education with emphasis on personal growth and character formation along with integral value based development of young students.
