Gandhi Jayanthi was celebrated on 2nd October 2020 at Carmel School, Moodbidri. A devotional ambience prevailed as the programme began with a meaningful prayer service followed by the lighting of a lamp as a tribute to Mahatma Gandhiji. Two teachers gave a talk on Values of Mahatma Gandhiji and his rich contribution to our Nation. On this day , teachers performed a Shramadhan by rendering their service in cleaning the school and its surroundings, thus showing their commitment to follow the noble ideals of Mahatma Gandhiji for personal and social development.

Students actively participated in great number from their homes in various competitions like Fancy Dress, Patriotic Singing and Essay writing on Mahatma Gandhiji.

Winners of the competition will be awarded with merit certificates.
