March 29, 2021 : Carmel School CBSE Moodbidri organised a talk on “Is Cell Phone Boon or a Bane” at the school hall. The students of class 6 to 10th were present for the session along with the students of Holy Rosary High School.

The programme began with a prayer service by invoking God’s blessings. Mr. John Menezes was the Resource Person for the session. He is a well known personality in the field of science and technology. In his address to the gathering he mentioned that everything in the world can be a boon or a bane or in other words good or bad, so it is with Mobile Phones. Usage of the smart phones must be done very intelligently and should be used only when it is required. He also awakened the students that using too much mobile phones can cause serious illness. At the end of the session the students understood the pros and cons of using cell phones and its importance in life.

Students of Class X, Reon Fernandes compered the programme and Delisha Dsouza presented the vote of thanks.
