Carmel School Moodbidri organized a workshop on Soft skills for the students on 21st of November 2022.The session began with a prayer service invoking God’s blessings. The Resource Person for the day were 2 eminent personalities Dr. Ajith Dsouza, Director- Asha Jyothi Academy, Surathkal and Mrs. Renita Dsouza, Head Counsellor, Alvas Education Foundation. Shaun Pinto of class IX welcomed the guest and the gathering. Sr. Premal, the Vice Principal of the school gave an introduction to the programme and encouraged the students to benefit from all the sessions.

The sessions started off on a wonderful note, with the energy and enthusiasm from the guests. The training mainly focused on developing skills such as communication, teamwork, coordination, critical and creative thinking, decision making, relationship building and problem solving. Other soft skills included emotional intelligence, a positive attitude and taking the initiative. It was a wonderful experience as the students were sensitized to many soft skills, to truly excel in the world.

The Principal Sr. Jyothi thanked the Resource persons for their informative contribution on soft skills to the students. The session was compered by Niyathi Amin of class X. The day came to an end with a vote of thanks by Theon Manish of class X and then the students left the hall enriched by the experience of the day.
