' A community needs many people to help it to function well and make the world a better place to live in' . Educating students about the community helpers and the kind of roles they play in our daily lives, is highly important. Indeed, they remind us of how interconnected we all are when we live in a community.

With an aim of stimulating the students’ imagination and enhancing their social development skills, Carmel School Moodbidri, organised community helpers activity for KG on 13th September and Grade 1 on 22 September 2023.

They were dressed up as nurses, doctors, police men, soldiers, vegetable and fruit vendors, farmers, milkmen, teachers, engineers, electricians, pilates, chefs etc. They also brought models, live materials, toys, charts etc. according to their topic. They presented their views happily and effectively. The principal, vice principal, students from various classes, teachers of our school, their parents, visited and appreciated the children and their performance.

The activities organized helped them in building confidence and respect for the people who make our lives easy and convenient with their vast services.
